This website was developed and is maintained by BYRD BRAINS on behalf of the Station. By using this website or contacting the ops desk, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

When you submit the pass request slip, write to us or call the ops line, we collect what you send: your name, mission or company, email address, phone number, the band you ask about, requirement details, and anything else you include. For track-band inquiries you may describe your licensing status; we ask you to share only what the inquiry requires — never export-controlled technical data through the general form.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Like most hosted websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when pages load: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps. This data keeps the site available and secure; it is not used to build advertising profiles.

1.3 Operational records

In the ordinary course of operating a station we keep records that may include business contact details: client and vendor information, pass schedules, pass logs (AOS/LOS, signal quality, anomalies), service configuration details for access clients, delivery and billing records, and correspondence.

2. How We Use Information

• To answer inquiries and evaluate service requests — matching a requirement to a band, window and configuration.
• To negotiate, document and perform contracts: pass scheduling, service delivery, invoicing and payment records.
• To satisfy regulatory and contractual obligations — including license-status verification, coordination records and any filings a contract requires us to support.
• To maintain and secure the website, diagnose errors and guard against abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting duties that apply to a Utah limited liability company.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising.

Our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting, operated by Google) processes server logs under its own infrastructure policies. 4. Sharing & Disclosure

We share information only where the Station's business or the law requires it:

• Service providers — hosting, email delivery and accounting tools that process data on our behalf under their own terms.
• Mission counterparties — carriers supplying your circuits, licensing authorities, partner stations and data-delivery endpoints where a contract requires it.
• Legal process — courts, regulators or law enforcement where disclosure is legally compelled, or to protect the Station's rights and safety.
• Business transfer — if the Station's assets or membership interests are ever sold or reorganized, business records may transfer as part of that transaction.

5. Mission & Pass Records

Telemetry and tracking engagements generate operational records — schedules, logs, signal data and handoff confirmations — that are the client's property under the contract. We retain working copies for quality assurance, billing and dispute resolution, treat them as confidential business records, and disclose them only to counterparties and authorities entitled to them. Client data containing export-controlled technical information must be transmitted through channels agreed in the contract, never through the general inquiry form.

6. Data Retention

Website and server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard schedule. Inquiry correspondence that does not become business is generally retained for up to 24 months. Contract, pass-log, tax and regulatory records are kept for the periods required by applicable law and contract — which can be several years. When records outlive their purpose and their legal clock, they are deleted or destroyed.

7. Security

We protect information with measures appropriate to a small operations company: restricted access to email and records, reputable hosted infrastructure, and HTTPS delivery of this website. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will respond as applicable law requires. You can help by not sending sensitive technical data until a verified channel is established.

8. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. Records we are required to keep — contracts, tax documents, regulatory records — cannot be deleted before their retention period ends. This website and the Station's services are directed at adult mission teams, carriers and business counterparties. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact the desk and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The current version is always posted here; material changes take effect when posted unless a later date is stated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
